Thong Lo, officially named Soi Sukhumvit 55. A trendy road in the Watthana District of Bangkok. Once suburban, this area enjoyed a development boom in the early-2000’s. New boutiques, restaurants and bars emerged and the condos followed, partly driven by a significant Japanese Expat community. Less touristy and on trend. First class Japanese food served at Shakariki 432 in an authentic setting with horigotatsu style tables.
