About me

21314513_10208589268644223_8443397018043185794_n.jpgThis is the part where I have to explain who I am, so here goes. I am 20 years old and in my third year of studying International Festival & Events and Marketing Management at Edinburgh Napier University.  I am the President of Napier Dance where I also teach Jazz and am the Contemporary Team Comp Captain. I have been dancing since I was only three years old and it is what sparked my interest in all things theatre. Moving to Edinburgh after living in the small town of Peterhead for most of my life was very exciting and I am enjoying exploring the city, as much as I can afford to! Reading is another avocation of mine and studying literature is what I miss the most about being at school. I currently work as Front of House at the Edinburgh Playhouse (the UK’s largest theatre!) and I absolutely love it. I am also an Ambassador for the UK Rock Challenge so expect some posts about that!

This blog is basically an online space for me to pour out my thoughts and record the exciting things that happen in my life – partly for my Mum – partly for me to look back on and remember. I’ll post about all things dance and theatre, discussing things that I have read and maybe sharing some things that I’ve written, I’ll be sharing cool places that I’ve been to eat food or grab a cocktail and maybe a recipe here and there and then just the other things that go on in my life or anything else I feel like talking about.
